November 2024 Update

November 2024 Update

Welcome back to another Accountable Driving blog. I'll be giving these out every month on how we're tracking as a company, how we did the previous month, big data we're finding on how people are driving, and a lot more. Hope you enjoy!

Update from October:
Our team worked really hard over the last few months to be where we're at. Our goal was to have our MVP release ready by Nov 1 (which is today releasing this blog). Instead we will start getting select users on Accountable for November 3rd (Sunday).

We recalculated our reporting time instead of manual calculations, we shifted to be off of speed calculations which is going to be an incredible data collector for us moving forward. We quickly adjusted in design a lot of key colors, standardized our fonts across the board, and made the onboarding process for the users MUCH easier and quicker to understand and do.

We've got the ign in process down to under 10 seconds (nearly 5 seconds). The sign up process for average users isn't taking longer than 30-45 seconds.

Pairing device process takes about 15-30 seconds (mainly dictated off of finding activation device ID on back of device).

After creating and pairing your device, you've got the ability to create your family board on a free first month subscription. Then you have the ability at anytime you would like to cancel that family board which works successfully. You can invite other members to your family board with them receiving in app notifications, along with removing pending family board users. You're able to click on another family board member's profile and see exactly how they've driven along with quickly adding a daily driving streak for users to get gratification each day they drive on the platform.

Updates for November:
We'll have A LOT to clean up. When you roll out the significant features that we have in the short amount of time, there are small things everywhere throughout the platform that need to be tightened to enhance the user experience. Small features, nice gestures, and things that most users wouldn't think about when they're there but things they would 100% notice if they're not.

As of now, we also plan to give the option for joining and owning multiple family boards along with adding friends and all that comes with friends on Accountable. Undecided yet on timeline for massive push out to the public - we'll need to see how the month of November goes first.

What is a family board?
A family board is the what our entire app is centered around. You can not view your driving data (even after pairing your device) until you are a part of a family board. The biggest key to ACTUALLY getting off your phone while you drive will be through community.

Think of the family board as your team. This is the place you bring all of your family members in to allow them to compete daily on a ranking system to find out who is staying off their phone the most while they drive. This allows you in real time to view your loved ones progress in the pursuit of safety on the roads. Eventually we will have more features that gets added to the board, but in essence it's a great way to bring people together around a cause of getting people off their phone while they drive with a simple ranking system viewed updated every time you pull to refresh.

Wrap Up:
We have a lot of big stuff on the horizon and can't wait to get this in your hands. If you're dying to try this out, please reach out and purchase your devices. The first 200 orders are completely free.
